About This SiteStories. Since childhood, they have helped to shape our thoughts, influenced our opinions, and determined our actions. Some stories stir our imaginations. Others teach us lessons about the world we live in. And still others, are intended to inspire and create change. Stories may have all kinds of purposes, but the best ones are the ones that resonate with us, change us, and endure in our memories and hearts. With recent technological innovations, the shape and delivery of stories has shifted dramatically and storytelling has "gone digital".
This website has been created by graduate students in ETEC 532, completing the Masters in Educational Technology degree at University of British Columbia. This website is intended to be used as an educational resource for teachers who are wishing to learn about digital storytelling and find ways to implement digital stories into their classrooms. |
